A kitchen refurbishment in an Edwardian family home. This design scheme began with the three pendant lamps as my colour sources. The design includes mismatched painted wood cupboard units and a mix of corian and wood worktops to create warmth. The island area is the working engine of the room around which everything revolves. In this way, shape was crucial to the flow of the room.
This project transformed the space from three tricky rooms to one large family kitchen including an eating and sitting area leading onto a deck creating an inside/outside feel.
