Simply put, she understands that a house is YOUR home; somewhere that is an extension of your personality, your safe space, where you work, entertain, and relax. Her overall approach is both creative and pragmatic. She listens carefully and cares deeply but is not afraid to encourage you to challenge yourself. A case in point; over a year ago, I mumbled that I “…don’’t think I’m keen on yellow” (and adamantly rejected any hint of the colour). Now, I have a huge yellow lampshade brightening up my living room, a yellow pillar candle flickers as I work in my office, and yellow pompoms adorn my beautiful roman blinds! Lola is professional, committed, and diligent but also fun (and funny), personable, kind and warm. “We commissioned Lola to help us redesign our sitting room which we were struggling with - and I'm so pleased we did! Lola's understanding of colour, texture, space and shape was outstanding, and she really brought new ideas that we hadn't even considered. She spent a lot of time talking to us about what we wanted, how we used the space etc. and then came back very quickly with a mood board and a plan with attached links of where we could buy the suggested furniture, which was all within our budget. Her excellent service and knowledge were worth every penny, and it's really not expensive - I can't recommend her highly enough, and I have a feeling I will be using her again!”

“I loved Lola’s colour workshop. I went to it hoping to get some ideas for my daughter’s bedroom. However, I finished the day with so much more than I had expected. I left with a gorgeous mood board for the room as well as a plan to make it happen. I am also bursting with ideas for our whole house and adding more colour and fun to some of our rooms. Lola was great at guiding us to think about the use of each room and how little colourful additions could breathe more life and vitality into our house. I was also really impressed by how Lola made us think about the environmental impact of design and gave us upcycling ideas and clever tips to make conscious design choices.
Overall, it gave me the confidence to give our home more personality with colour. I highly recommend it!”
